Everything from the motel rooms to the cottages and even the pool is clean and beautiful, and the view is perfect. The location is very convenient, being in the middle of town and just 5-10 minutes from the beach. It’s definitely a place you could stay even when there’s nothing else to do, like a home away from home. Everything about this place is heavenly. Keep up the good work!
The best. My family comes here every year. The location is great, we are close to everything the town has to offer. My kids love the pool and enjoy the swing set. We can grill and sit out on the deck on the picnic tables. The people there are the best and very helpful with anything you may need.
I stayed on Labor Day 2025. Clean, friendly, great place for the price. I highly recommend and will be back!
Nice little place - had a little funky smell but we opened the windows before we ventured back out and it was fine. Liked the heater in the bathroom. Squeaky bed made me laugh and glad I was only going to be sleeping - lol. My cousin's bed was fine and we appreciated the friendliness of the person who checked us in and the recommendation on where to get dinner.
My Queen and I really enjoyed our stay here this past weekend in October of 2025. The grounds were practically pristine and the room was nice and clean and bright. Plenty of lighting and even a little kitchen area that we didn’t know it had. The first night I noticed the porch light was out and the following night I noticed it was replaced without asking. Our porch area was private from our immediate rooms on either side. Water pressure was solid and plenty of towels and toiletries for a 2 night stay. They even had dishes, plates and glasses unseen in a regular motel room rate. We have found our permanent stay from now on each year we head to Maine!
I've stayed at The Garrison innumerable times over the years with various friends and my elderly mother when she was still with us. The Garrison has become our home away from home. Our accommodations have always been clean, spacious, and priced right. The Garrison is also well-situated between Ogunquit and Kennebunkport and has a pool and lovely view. Justin, the owner, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Always thoroughly enjoy our visit.
Stay here everytime I visit Wells Beach. Love the suites with kitchen. Staff and owners very friendly. Nice outdoor pool. Convenient location. Can't wait to go back!
Clean Comfortable Efficient.This place had everything necessary for an enjoyable stay. Full size refrigerator and space to cook and spread out. Outside pool, horseshoes, plenty of room for kids to run while you enjoy the water view. Although right off the main road, it was quiet enough to hear the birds singing. If your need is exclusive you will not be satisfied here, but if you need, a Super Clean, comfortable space you will find the Garrison to your liking. Only disturbance was kids upstairs banging around until 10:30, after which the rest of the evening was peaceful. I did not complain, so owners had no knowledge of this issue. I will definitely be returning.
